From what I heard the fitting with half the beauties went well a few weekends ago! I am crash dieting as we speak to try and be ready for mine and Krissy's fitting. I cannot wait to see pictures!
My mom and I are about 95% sure that the Bridal Shower is going to be at Asbury Willows. For those of you that have never heard of it/been there... here is the website:

The website has some great pictures and information. It truly is a great place for a shower, and also a good place to try and convince Jill she is just going to lunch with my mom ...
The time we are thinking will be 12-4. We are still both between doing lunch, or brunch. The brunch sounds too good to pass up, but 12-4 sounds more like lunch time to me. Please comment on your opinions of brunch vs. lunch. EVERYTHING sounds really yummy though.

Fitting Details
at Caitlin's request .... (per Jill's email)
Round 1: Saturday, January 5th
1pm. Jill is waiting for a confirmation from the shop owner on the time, so you will prob hear
from her once more to make things definite. Julia and Caitlin can meet me at my parent's house and Amy can meet us over at the The Bridal Path for 1:00?
Please share your thoughts on this and I can provide directions to the Bridal Path for whoever might need them.
Round 2: Krissy and I over MLK weekend...don't need to concern you guys with that!

Also, I am working on favors. Since Jill wants a Midsummer Night's Dream theme, I am trying to channel that. I am thinking getting chocolates made into the shapes of moons (a common theme/symbol from the play) or little bottles of love potions (another symbol) and then tying the chocolate and a little card with a love quote from the play into some tulle tied with green and purple ribbon.
man when did i get so girly? would love some idea/thoughts. i am not really up on my Shakespeare!!

Strike that, Reverse it ....
So, turns out the weekend of MLK is a terrible weekend for most. So here is the new idea:
JANUARY 5th - The first weekend in January for Bridemaids (Caitlin, Julia, and Amy)
MLK Weekend - Maids of honor .... it's easy for me to train home over a 3 day weekend :)

Bridal Weekend for Dresses
Ok Ladies,
Hello, hope everyone is doing well.
Jill has informed me of a tentative Bridal Weekend over Martin Luther King Day for some dress measurements and such. She said Caitlin and Amy are good to go, and we are just waiting on Julia. Since most people get that Monday off - it's a good time to capitalize on some free time.

First things first.... dresses and a shower date!
Hey Guys,
I know not everyone is technology savvy, but I thought having one place to go to, instead of massive emails chains, would be easier. Also, the fact that I sit in front of a computer screen 40 hours a week helps a great deal.
Over the weekend we went to visit Jill's dress (its beautiful, of course) and we found the perfect bridesmaid dresses. You can see them here:

(i wore the straps on my shoulders, not on the side like that)

Krissy and I (as of now) are wearing our dresses in Clover and the rest of you guys will be in Kiwi. And, the dresses are REALLY light and comfortable.... well at least mine and Julia's is.
Second, I wanted to start talking about bridal shower dates. My mom said April would be best for Jill....so start throwing some dates out there that would be good for you guys.
